The $39,517 the congressman claimed in expenses represent the equivalent of having driven 70,000 miles or from Washington to San Francisco 12 times

He travels a lot (could have been doing research)- probably wasted less than M0bama spent flying to Ellens' show on the same day as Barak trip to Kimmel - 2 trips to CA needed their 'own' plane...

What a small timer. That's chump change for a Chicago alderman, let alone a Congressman. That's walking around money for a community organizer on a get out the vote project. He must be a Republican because he isn't a big enough crook to qualify as a Dem in Illinois.

I'm assuming you posted this as a gotcha to counter the serial idiocy of the Dems in Washington. Given that your attention span is cartoon length, you probably haven't noticed that there is not a lot of love here for most politicians of either party. Most are only a marginally lesser evil than their Democratic brethren. In short, big yawn.

He can't help it, he frequents liberal websites that make stupid charts and graphs that only fool the foolish or naive.

If these things continue to go on...people are liable to lose faith in the Illinois politicians.

It's legal. Clinton used the money for what she was supposed to use it for. There is an account with a specific amount set up for that purpose among others. Most, maybe all, Senators have done the same.

Schock, shockingly used the same money to fly to Bears games and to other sporting events. That is not allowed. And he took flights on planes belonging to friends and donors. Also against the rules.

How do you know it was not to meet with constituents? Just because people like you, James Carville, the Clintons say it is legal, does not make it so.
