I am looking at today's GP R3 - :5: Predicting

then I notice that the Brdr for this horse is listed as Michael R Matz (PA). Is this the same Matz who was Barbaro's trainer? What I mean is.. is he also into breeding operations? If so, this guy never ceases to amaze me! :ThmbUp:

I recall he trained that horse's dam.

The dam couldn't run a lick in 3 maiden tries.

He probably got her for free and took a shot breeding her and selling the foal.

He probably got her for free and took a shot breeding her and selling the foal. Thanks, I guess I was more in awe of his showjumping career and then of course, he trained Barbaro, Union Rags etc..

YUP today he had a first timer, $99.00 at GP!
It's hard not to like him .

It's hard not to like him . Sweet score for whoever played that! I like his style of quiet confidence and that he is from PA :). I definitely had no angle on Ascot Girl though, (looks like she can go 10f well).would've bet the :9: My Celeste, even if I had played this.
