What would make you feel a success as a handicapper? I bring this up because I stopped in a local casino and saw a woman hit the jackpot on a machine for $70,000.
She acted as if she won $70,just said "hey I got it",didn't even smile.
Now if I had hit for something like that I would be freakin.
But after a little thought,I think maybe she expected to win,or was relieved she finally did.
I have won several large tickets and had people around me get more excited than I did.I think I have begun to expect to win,not concerned with one large payoff,but satisfied with cashing enough tickets to show a profit.I don't get my jollies from the amount,just satisfaction from being able to do it .I have said ,I want to get better,but I think the only way I will is to hit a 5 digit ticket.I am satisfied with my handicapping,so the only room for improvement is the amount of money.God ,that sounds pretty arrogant doesn't it? But I hope you can see what I am trying to explain.
Course if I did hit that 5 digit payoff,I might be hard to be around.I might also drop dead after proclaiming myself King of the World ;)
