Does anyone know where I can find an active list of sires who do not have Native Dancer in their pedigree? I want to see how many are out there. The one I know of and the only Classic winner in this century is Giacomo of the 2005 Kentucky Derby out of the famous Holy Bull.

I don't have a comprehensive list but here are the ones that come to mind in North America:

Mizzen Mast
Alphabet Soup
Chapel Royal
Orientate

Another one: Stephen Got Even.

I doubt you'll get much out of this line of inquiry but Tiznow is a bit interesting.

That is one more horse not inbred 20 times to Northern Dancer. Thank you OTM Al and the one thing I did get out of that line of inquiry is a glimmer of hope that there are still horses who are not infused with the ND/ND blood.

His male line goes back to the Godolphin rather than the Darley Arabian, which is fairly rare as most come from the Darley through Eclipse. If you ever get a chance to go to the Racing Hall of fame they have a really neat graphic representation of breedig lines.

That is exactly what I was talking about at the HoF Museum

There is Native Dancer blood in Tiznow on the dam's side.

And having just went to check it, it's in the sire's blood, too.

Combining the race track and the shed, Native Dancer might of been the best horse ever.

So it's Native Dancer that is to blame for all these Lasix horses?

I know many blame him for the lack of Triple Crown winners but how could you. See how many horses have won a Triple Crown race with his influence. There has to be something more than just Native Dancer to blame because last time I checked Affirmed and Alydar both had Native Dancer yet they were the last ones so maybe it was a premonition. Three examples of non-Native Dancer blood being beaten by Native Dancer descendents and they are Spectacular Bid/Coastal:1979, Sunday Silence/Easy Goer:1989, and Silver Charm/Touch Gold in 1997. Also I noticed there are plenty of horse with ND blood who were defeated by ND blood. The point that ND is the sole reason for no TC winner is complete and udder crap.
