He did not look good to me at all .. on the lead ... I think he
might have simply gotten away from Smith .. and never did
settle down ... just my opinion .. I could be wrong and ..I often

Lion Heart does that every race, did the same thing in the Blue Grass and the Derby, just doesn't handle the rail well.

The heck with Lion Heart. Let's give the devil his due. Smarty Jones ran one heck of a race. If he comes out healthy and has one more race like either of the last 2, we have ourselves a triple crown winner.

I will be rooting this one. For some reason this one feels different than War Emblem or Funny Cide. After watching Rock Hard Ten (who I liked) there is nobody close to Smarty Jones.

I agree that Lionheart didn't take to that track.......I wouldn't be surprised if they come back and say he is hurt.........I don't think that 10 minutes of standing in the gate helped either........

But I don't think anybody had a thing for the Philly Flash

Good for Smarty- you have to beat the horse to prove he cannot do it all. Kent seem to be focused on Imp's right rear leg going into the gate.
Soon we can all start looking for giant killers to beat SJ in the Belmont

Lion Hart looks like this much of the time. He is a small horse and he doesnt seem to have any way to turn up an extra gear either on the back stretch or finish. A very game horse but often caught from behind, and so probably every race you could wonder if he was hurt.
