Race One:

:7: Bobblehead. “Buy your “Doll” a box of Valentine’s Day chocolates with this Seeking The Gold-bred gelding. Let’s turn the clock back to last summer. This then 3-year-old almost won at first asking in Chicago-land. A race later it was “pop goes the weasel”. Then ambitiously entered and overmatched, but caught a lot of money. Claimed at Keeneland. Tried on “the weeds” without success. Back at his distance. Blinkers. As George Gershwin might have penned: “Who could ask for anything more!” Others: :2: Silver Crusader; :4: Al’s Jubalee; :6: Ethan’s Tune.

Race Two:

:5: Lungs was splitting rivals in this same company a few weeks ago at Oldsmar. Now stretches out a panel…that should help. Hector Rosario, Jr. reprises the ride for trainer George Leonard III. Also: :1: Cat In The Forest; :7: Cooking Up A Storm; :6: One Hot Pairadice.

Race Three:

:6: Hashtag Bourbon was running against some of the best 2-year-olds in the country…and getting bet. Holy Corn-dog, Batman. What gives? Broke his maiden in an ungraded maiden stakes at Mountaineer. What’s he doing here! Adds blinkers. Morning works are solid after four-month layoff. Can’t imagine this colt going off at more than 1 to 5. Also: :4: Alabaster; :2: Tam O’Shanter; :3: Hollywood Premier.

Race Four:

8 Shezasmittenkitten is a Storm Cat-bred mare who should be mounting a late charge in the stretch. Jockey Ricardo Feliciano’s got to time his ride just right for this 6-year-old to grace the winner’s circle. If everything goes according to plan… Others: :1: Latika Love; :6: Chica Bonita; :5: WhooDoo Meadow.

Race Five:

:3: House Money just missed in last. Cuts back a half-panel; that should help. The “hot as a petardo,” Antonio Gallardo, is in the irons for trainer Kathleen O’Connell. Others: :6: Harp N Halo; :8: Mountain Candy; :7: Magic Olivia.

Race Six: 5 Travinia looks solid here. Antonio Gallardo (Two-in-a-row) reprises the ride for trainer Arnaud Delacour. Others: 9 Cool Temper; 10 Heir To Glory; 1 Annie Dancing

Race Seven:

:3: Hardened Hero won his last. Can repeat. In solid form having hit tote in last three. Feranando De La Cruz in the irons. Others: :4: Real Good Movie; :2: Thrice Nice; :5: Indygo Red.

Race Eight:

:6: Awesome Flower in this ungraded stakes route. I like Mike Maker as a conditioner. Also the turf-to-dirt angle. Others: :5: Swinger’s Party; :1: Ice for the Lady; :2: Elusive Fate.

Race Nine:

:4: Special Envoy went off the chalk on Preakness Day at Pimlico in an ungraded stakes but came up short as the betting fave. Adds blinkers after a nine-month layoff. If reasonably ready. Daniel Centeno has the riding assignment for trainer Arnaud Delacour. Others: :7: Crown Thy Good (With Brotherhood); :6: Gavroche; :9: My Thunder Boy.

Race Ten:

:3: Financial Freedom gets my nod in this optional claiming route. Beaten fave in his last in this company. Can make amends. Ron Allen, Jr. for a solid trainer, Tim Padilla. Others: :2: Undeniable Temper; :6: Papiamento; :5: Jinx the Cat.

Race Eleven:

:1: Really Really may add a little value in this turf claiming route, non-winners of two. This lightly-raced Pulpit-bred filly may well have needed her last. Pablo Morales draws the riding assignment for trainer Eugene Recio. Others: :8: Good Catholic Girl; :7: Glory Style; :10: Aribelle
