The thing to note is the patches just release to close the hole in Windows are only for currently supported versions, i.e. there is not a patch for XP.
And just to be sure, I cranked up my lone XP system to see if any updates were available. And, as expected, the only thing Windows Update located was the update for the Malicious Software Removal Tool.
