LinkedIn employee is the latest to contract the disease. Rode the BART the 3 days before being diagnosed.

Now where did I put those surgical masks?

A doctor was interviewed about what kind of parents are not vaccinating their kids. He said to stick a pin in a map at a Whole Foods location, and those people are in the immediate area.

Whatever you do, don't send your kids to a day care center in Silicon Valley. According to "Wired", they checked day care centers affiliated with high tech companies and six out of twelve have a level of measles vaccination that does not provide the “herd immunity” critical to the spread of the disease.

Google is such a vacuum for data, I'm sure they have the records of all those employee's kids -- let's see some numbers.

"A Google representative told Wired the numbers were out of date and that the day care centers had vaccination rates of 81% and 98% in 2013 and 2014."

Hmmmm, quite a jump from 1 year to the next and, look at that, just before the outbreak became major news!

We survived it in the 60's

I'm sure they can survive it now

I read an article today that said the majority of the kids coming down with measles in this latest outbreak ARE VACCINATED KIDS.

I have read that up to 5% of people are not immunized by the vaccination, or at least not by a single dose. But if everyone else is vaccinated, that produces a "herd immunity", so those not immunized are still protected because they don't get exposed.

So in other words, the vaccination itself is far from foolproof, but if it's done by almost everyone it improves the overall results. Interesting.

But not everybody did.

That's why it is important to stop it.
Even though it goes against the liberal agenda.
Liberalism is a disease.
