Fantasy sports gambling

I noticed that this month's edition of HANA's Horseplayer journal mentions fantasy sports.

Does anyone here play fantasy football or other sports?

More importantly, how is racing going to compete against fantasy sports gambling?

I just visited a site and registered for a free account. It is so much easier to register for an account than with an ADW. Putting money into the fantasy site looks relatively easy, too. Given the big money behind these sites and the fact they are being run by companies like ESPN, CBS and companies like NBC and Comcast are investing in them, what chance does horse racing have?

Horse racing is only surviving in many jurisdictions because of slot machine subsidies. How long is this sustainable?

NFL players are stopped and spoken to in public. On Twitter. And everywhere else.

How can other sports compete with such committed fans? I don't believe they can.

I'll add, I'm sorry, but the woman in the Viking headgear....really looks unfortunate. Rabid fan or not.
