50k per insured

Those numbers are a little misleading. That is the total cost to the government (i.e., taxpayers) for the additional 24 to 27 million who didn't have insurance and will have it under ObamaCare. It is not the cost per person for everyone that gets insurance through the exchanges, which is what the story appears to be saying. But it is still obscene.

On the other hand, that does not include the huge jump in health insurance premiums paid by the young and healthy for unneeded coverage so that insurance for the less healthy can be subsidized. That's the killer number I'd like to see, and probably never will.

i honestly thought it would have been closer to $200,000 per person. i don't really think it makes to much of a difference though. but i don't see this as such a bad thing because it will bankrupt the country faster than if we didn't have this. we will have to go through the re-organization process. this has happened with lots of retailer's and airlines like Delta, United, American. they all re-organize and come back stronger and knock out the competition.

before Obama became president we couldn't pay back $16 trillion, in 5 more years we won't be able to pay back $30 trillion. so it really doesn't make any difference what they do at this point.
