Will there ever be a human who has a Trillion dollars of wealth, could it ever happen?

Or, is there an amount of money that' the unofficial 'ceiling' for one person to have?

Not if Obama has any say in the matter.

Not if Obama has any say in the matter.

Which, of course, is to his credit.

Why the hell would anyone need a trillion dollars?
Unless, of course, they are trying to take over
some corner of the world, like Dr. Evil....muhuaahhaaa

Why is that anyone else's business as long as it is obtained legally?

"Behind every fortune there is a crime"- Balzac

I'm not sure I believe that, but there is some truth in it.

If the Indians, who sold Manhattan for $24 (in beads and trinkets), had sold their items and invested that money at 7% interest...today (389 years later) they would have 6.4 trillion dollars.

And Obama would be chasing after it as we speak.

How about someone with an actual current trillion in that day's dollars?

Gates has to 15X his wealth to get close.

As far as I can tell, Gates seems to just be a genius that was born in an upper-class situation, and happened to capitalize with extreme success.

He's popularly referred to as the "world's wealthiest person", and is virtually the symbol of that status at this point, but it doesn't look to be accurate at all from my limited insight.
I looked at the Forbes list, and didn't even see the wealthiest people on those lists at all. Mostly people and families somewhat similar to Gates.
