International Star was impressive in winning the Grade 3 Lecomte Stakes yesterday. Is he talented enough to have more success moving forward?

He did catch a nice ground saving trip with lively action up front.
The long FG stretch helped him when he got jammed up a bit right after they straightened away.
My gut feeling is the trip was sweet.
If he has that punch with a slower pace I'll buy in a little more.
Decent enough pedigree........a bit grassy.

I like how he stayed involved throughout the race. I don't think this horse is totally dependent on the pace of the race. The long stretch definitely did help him carve out his trip. He is interesting...raced with some of the best 2-year-olds last year.
