As far as I'm concerned, its never too early for MLB. Here's what the FanGraph projections say for 2015:

National League:
Dodgers 91-71 St Louis 87-75 Washington 87-75 Pittsburgh 86-76 Cubs 83-79 San Fran 83-79 Miami 81-81 Mets 79-83 Colorado 78-84 San Diego 78-84 Milwaukee 77-85 Cincinnati 75-87 Arizona 74-88 Atlanta 73-89 Philly 69-93

They have to find 17 more wins to beat that number. How are they going to go from a 71 win team to an 88 or more win team? Who are their top 5 starting pitchers for the upcoming season?

If you look at their projections it works out that the Sox win the "tepid" AL East. AS a Bosox fan I'll sign up for that right now and take my chances in the playoffs.

I'll take the "under" on Tampa's 83 wins for the limit.

Are you confident they're going to even be a 500 team? They lost Lester, their best pitcher, they're 1 year older, Ortiz is one year older, in what way did they upgrade a 71 win team from last year? Did they find 17 wins in the FA market?
