Well our old pal Serge Masse is at it once again scooping the whole pool with a horse that he dropped 5 seconds on Sunday afternoon at Fraser named Rain Delay. Went off at 9-1 and jogged wire to wire beating a 1/9 shot who ended up 3rd. Someone hit the ex huge as it was a 9-1 over a 10-1 and it paid $40 as well as the tri.

Have a look at Tony Hall ice a maiden today at the Meadows in the 4th race named Sayitwithasmile. i wonder if he did it with a smile. In against the worst horses in the world and he buries him when he was open lenghts the best. Good news is you can get him next week at 2/5.

Onto item 3. Play The Justice at Monticello today in the 8th. Wired them today by a mile in 2:00 after showing nowhere near the speed he went today. He romped beating a 1/5 shot. Must have been the trainer change from Allan Johnson to Chris Marino that knocked the 10 lenghts off. Oh wait, they are one of the same

For those who love Flamboro, Patrick Shepherd is back from his suspension and the tanks are full on everything he races trying to make up for lost time.

Hey!............that's nothing new.............Serge has been doing that for the last 20-30 years even when he was hers at my home track of Northlands Park.

My God how old is Serge now???...............he must be in his sixties at least!

Glad someone has been paying attention. Well said my friend, Masse has a very checkered past and keeps on rolling. No doubt his merry band of men will be eating like kings this Xmas after the heist they just pulled off.

How can I forget Jackie Rousse er Johnson and that outfit. Somehow the shipment must have been lost for the Jersey stock. Seems like they are all empty. Memory Game ran off the screen at Saratoga 2 in a row looking like he should pace in 49 at the meds. Went there and looked crippled and got beat a city block.

I cant keep track of the latest soap opera. Jackie is Colin, Cory is Katie, Katie cant race, Yves is in Ottawa using Colins equipment, owner banned from meds cuz he says Corys training in NY, Cory is Moreau, Colin at Flamboro.:faint:

If you research the FRD races, you will find there are a disproportionate number of very low odds entries that fail to finish in the first two slots. In fact, one could almost build a career with an "advanced understanding" of the nuances of race finishes relative to odds at Fraser Downs.

It is doubly important, because many selections are only based on "if" rather than "iff" (if and only if). An example is a particular pattern at FRD that generates a healthy ROI. Closer inspection may reveal that the inflated mutuel prices are ONLY in races in which an entry that went off at less than 3/5 "failed to fire." Putting those two scenarios together can often buy lunch at Bellagio's. Even if you are in Poughkeepsie.

The exacta and trifecta pools (especially at FRD) are normally way better indicators of "what will happen" than the win pools.

I can't quite understand why you play this game ...

It seems that all you do is complain about the cheaters, and after the fact at that...

According to you, we should look for larceny at every turn of the card....

Hey Scoop, I know there are cheaters, and I know most of them too, but I still do OK despite knowing this...

I rarely learn anything from your posts...Maybe I just can't get past your negative approach to this game....It must be me..

to me it looks like the only money in harness is in the purses, you can't find bookmaker's to take any sizable bets, and the pools are generally small.

if you aren't that good a trainer and you hold a horse, there is no guarantee that even if you drop the horse that you can win with him after the poor effort.

Whatever system your playing I wish you well.

My comments about Masse to those in the know are from years of watching him do exactly what he did Sunday. He could go race anywhere and be successful. Periodically he will launch one like he did the other day and drop 5 seconds and take down a huge score.. No sour grapes here as I just chuckled when I saw the race.

Sorry if it upsets you for telling it like it is. If you can prove I do not speak the truth on any posts I have made here, feel free to post it.

All of the races I posted about today I never wagered on, just passing on what I saw to let others who might care know.

If you would like me to bring you some peanuts to join the gallery just ask, I am good that way. I am sure in all your years posting here noone has ever offered you peanuts.

If your looking to buy On The Radar online, please watch the replays from Northfield, they aren't pretty. This has bad ending written all over it.

Reminds me of trainer of the year Jimmy Takter trying to race a crippled Uffizi Hanover at Delaware. To me, trainer of the year type guys do not race crippled horses like her (2 year old Breeders Crown winner), especially on a half, when they try to lay down on every turn. Raced lame all year long, would hate to see the vet bills on her. Stay away from her foals.

Monticello has been invaded by Saratoga. Just turn the page until Saratoga leaves.

Woodbines boxing day card = worse ever. What ever happened to the Boxing Day Invitational :bang:
