And this time there were practically no scratches. That was basically what was entered. Card opened with 2 five horse races followed by 3 six horse races.

They should rename this track "Golden Gate South".

Todays los al card is disastrous from a field size and quality standpoint.

They should only be running three days a week. Without a turf course, just not enough horses to make a decent four-day week.

They should change the meet to "Santa Anita at Los Al" or something like that, this way, they won't have the "brand" of Los Al, which most horseplayers and people automatically avoid.
