FIFA, the governing body of international soccer,
is going through very troubled times.

Today, the head of their independent ethics committee,
US lawyer Michael Garcia, resigned his post due to losing
an appeal concerning the integrity of the selection process
for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.

In short, the entire FIFA organization, led by Sepp Blatter,
is, at best, suspect in their governing of the sport and,
more seriously, a highly corrupt body.

Former playing great Michel Platini, now the head of UEFA
or Europe's governing body, has recently called
for Blatter's resignation, and not for the first time.
It appears that Blatter will have to be physically
dragged out into the street before he resigns his lofty post.
He has damaged the organization greatly, and cannot
be trusted to make things right. It is high time he was ousted.

Stay tuned.

He is scum, and I'm sure the problems run a lot deeper than just him.
