Planned Parenthood still havin' a great time slaughtering the next generation of blacks (since the vast majority of that "minority" are very likely blacks.

Recall the PP scandal concerning blacks and abortions that was uncovered about 2 years or so ago?

I read the comments following that story and I can say without fear of contradiction that the readers of CNS news are disgusting human beings. Except that I am not really sure they are human beings.

If you want to call me disgusting, just do it. don't sugar coat it.

It won't change the facts............ of the article. Glad you support it.

Obamacare provides for contraceptives. Conservative and religious groups have fought this provision on various grounds.

However, contraceptives may be less expensive than abortions. This leads to lower health care costs and indirectly reduces welfare costs over time.

Ironically, comprehensive healthcare for all is the worldwide standard. In this country, we sometimes argue for the sake of arguing.

In this country during the 40's and 50's you took your kids to the primary care doctor when they were sick. If you were rich he charged a little more and if poor he charged a little less. If very poor, he'd give you prescription samples when he could. Everyone knew and nobody complained. Ultimately, it was the Doctors business. No receptionists or billing administrators, you paid the doctor directly.

Today the vast majority of Doctors are specialists and they administratively fight for the last dollar insurance can provide.

Irony? Stupidity?

Despite its history of pioneering widespread abortions in black communities, Planned Parenthood joined the #BlackLivesMatter Twitter protest Monday afternoon, tweeting, “We are joining #Ferguson organizers and protesters in DC today — standing in solidarity with you! #HandsUpWalkOut #BlackLivesMatter”

I have a philosophical question for liberals.

Suppose some day medical science can identify whether a child will be gay or straight before it is born the way they can use genetic tests to determine other things.

Now suppose some couples choose to abort their babies specifically because they do not want a gay child.

What wins?

Pro choice, pro gay/civil rights, or does your head just explode?

Pro choice, pro gay/civil rights, or does your head just explode? It would be nobody's business but theirs. It really is hard for conservatives to stop from passing moral judgments on other people even when you nothing about them, isn't it?

No, not hard at all.
YOU passed judgement on a cop acting in a legitimate situation and exonerated by the legal system, yet you want everyone to turn a blind eye to murdering babies as a lifestyle choice.

And Class did not pass a judgement -he asked a question.
YOU passed judgement on him.

I pass judgment on all sorts of things (including the things I've done that I'm not proud of). I'm just consistent that I don't want government doing anything about it other than perhaps encouraging superior behavior or when there's a very strong consensus on the immorality of something. I think abortion is intrinsically immoral, but clearly a lot of people disagree with me. So I don't want to impose my will on them. I am hopeful that someday more people will agree with me and things will change on their own.

I could really see something like that being a moral dilemma for most on the left. Many people want government out of the picture when it would interfere with their lives but in the picture when they want to advance their own agenda.

Even those on the left principled enough to stay pro choice would be seething on the inside and I'm sure others would want to carve out an exception. It would make for some interesting politics.
