No I'm not. It isn't about a Democrat. For those unfamiliar, Elizabeth Lauten sent out a tweet criticizing Malia and Sasha Obama's appearance at the annual turkey pardoning; telling them to get some class and stop dressing like they were going to a bar.

Shocked at the negative response to her tweet Lauten apologized, saying that after prayer she realized how hurtful her comments were. Really! You needed prayer to figure that out? Anyone who was not a self righteous prig would have figured that out all on their own. Sasha and Malia would have figured it out when they were four.

It took the media over a week to pick up on Grubergate. This story however caught on real fast. I guess it was a coincidence that the political shoe was on the other foot so to speak.

I don't know who this person is or exactly what was said, but I have to confess that before this uproar even began, when I first saw the photo of the presidential turkey pardon, the very first thought that went through my mind was why can't they ever seem to find a more appropriate skirt length for that girl? Of course this is not a new thing with them, and no it's not a big deal. Just a matter of taste and proper decorum.

The story would have been if you would have gone on Twitter afterwards and posted about how shocked and offended you were at how your neighbor speaks.
The big difference is that your neighbor is an adult whereas Malia and Sasha are children.

The "attack" was about people trying to turn a catty remark by a nobody GOP staffer into a national scandal to rival GruberGate, IRS targeting, and illegal executive orders combined.
