After reading this article, it appears that the "new power" is nothing but "soft" assets that are mere wisps of smoke, dissipating with the smallest of shifts in popular culture, with little or nothing to show for financial investments. Soft power has a "fictional" atmosphere aura about it, while old power will always have a hard asset, non-fictional reality based in its foundation, making it always coveted, but elusive to the vast majority who pursue after it. In conclusion, New power is the fantasy world that somehow wants to be a valued hard asset, but seemingly is non-attainable in reality, though appearing somewhat satisfying to those living in cyber-space.....
