Anyone? When was the last time a Jockey so blatantly sent the horse to one direction to cut off others in order to get to the rail first?

Kind of not good to answer a question with a question.
My answer is , I do not recall ever seeing that happen

Sorry, but I asked a simple question.

I can not say... but the BC Classic should of been the first if none have been in the past.

Hmmmm....seems to be a pattern here.

Do you think this might be Baffert in the parade ring before those races?

"Yeah...gun for the lead, and cut inside immediately. Take out anyone
who gets in your way - just get the rail and the lead."

In 04 Arlington Million Powerscourt ! 1st to 4th .

Aiden O'Brien not too pleased . Not gate DQ but

a very big insult and controversy from what I remember .

IMO Bayern's was not much of a gate hopping or swing out.

Not saying it was done to purposely take down others . It clearly

appeared the jock had every intention of getting closer to the rail

with very poor judgement . Had he knocked another rider off his

horse , it could have been catastrophic and would be deemed reckless .

Maybe time to look closer at the break !

JCGC, Awesome Again, Classic.
Jocks are taking center stage over the horses.
That dipstick in the JCGC should be suspended as long a Rajiv is out.

Of Itsallgreektome's eight second-place finishes, only one was by more than three-quarters of a length, and that race, the 1990 Del Mar Derby, was a stake that Redding, trainer Wally Dollase--and even the Del Mar stewards--thought that the gray gelding deserved to win.

After Tight Spot beat Itsallgreektome by three lengths, the stewards disqualified the winner, ruling that he had illegally crisscrossed the field from an outside post position at the start of the race. The money, $165,000 for first and $60,000 for second, wasn't paid until almost a year later, after a state hearing referee rescinded the stewards' decision twice and a judge backed him up in court.

I was waiting for someone to mention Tight Spot.

That was a published decision of the California Court of Appeal, overruling the stewards and holding that a disqualification was unwarranted. It's a legal precedent.

And I bet you all three Santa Anita stewards are quite aware of it.
