Possibly. I see these isolated events as with the one in Canada as more of a nuisance than any act from any larger terrorist organization. We may have to live with this as more of a deranged sign of the times than real terrorism. I'd classify these along with the schoolroom shootings and such as human minds running a muck. Their personal affiliation with Islam or a terrorist group is perhaps in their own minds, but not realistic. I'd even doubt an organization such as ISIS would want a bunch of mental misfits as warriors defending their cause, regardless how brutal and sadistic they may seem to us.
