No Caps Lock or Num Lock Indicator on My Laptop

There has never been (to my knowledge) a caps lock or num lock indicator/light on my relatively new Samsung Laptop. I've done a search to no avail.

The only way to know if my caps lock key is on is to type something.

Any suggestions?

Plug an external keyboard in via USB and a caps light will be on or off.
I use an external KB with my laptop, and when ending the session (prior to putting away the laptop) I'm required to turn cps OFF, else I've to dig through the manual and find the shortcut-key.
