and forget about Columbus Day

(who was responsible for a large genocide, kidnapping, sex trafficking, and so many other things that are left from the history books because that is how things were done in the late 1400's...)

We celebrate Columbus day because his trip to the Americas started the civilization that we have today. I don't want to give him too much credit though. If he had not "discovered" or "rediscovered" America, some one else would have in a few years. The time had come for Europe to start looking a new part of the world to pillage.

So, I'm not sure how I'm to align myself with the politically correct crowd. And the article gives my not a single clue what I am suppose to celebrate or how to celebrate.

Do I don native American clothes? What do I eat? Exactly what are the different dances and songs of the native Americans that I can learn in order to join in on these celebrations? Where do I go for these festivities?

They have not yet realized how much money they can fleece the politically guilt ridden crowd.

They really don't want White's participating? What happened to the idea of the melting pot or does that not apply since they were here first?

Do they have a word for infidel?

I was told in grad school the "melting pot" idea is no longer how we're supposed to think. Also, color blindness is out.
