Hey Ronsmac there were a few races where late money poured in. Let me know
which race you're referring to and I'll check it out again. I keep the tote activities on every race for a number of reasons.

which race you're referring to and I'll check it out again. I keep the tote activities on every race for a number of reasons.I believe it was the 2nd or 3rd race from sha tin Saturday night/Sunday morning our time. The final odds were 2.3 -1. I thought I saw 9/2 leaving the gate.

You can watch these moves going down at www.markread.com.au before
they happen at the track. Some heavy hitters get part of their action down
at fixed odds in Australia, and probably elsewhere, before the odds drop in
Hong Kong.

I was watching this trend months back when TVG first started taking HK.
The moves don't always win, and your final pari-mutuel odds get burned
if you happen to be betting on these horses.

Solid handicapping that finds value plays against some of these moves
is probably the best way to go. It's not something I want to get involved
in right now, though. At least not until they expand the wagering menu.
