VYJACK - for rising from the ashes like a Phoenix to win today's Kelso at Belmont and SHARED BELIEF - for overcoming a less than spectacular ride by Mike Smith to just get up at Santa Anita.

Can't believe the TVG announcers (shills?) called Snith's ride "brilliant." Horse won on his own courage, and the effort probably took a great deal out of him. Rider no help at all, imho.

One of the worst trips you could possibly imagine. Herded out 4-3w all of clubhouse turn. Spending energy in second quarter 4w for nothing. Hung out to dry in third quarter all in and had every excuse to quit out of the super. Kept on like a champion to grind up despite a terrible trip.

Wow.....

The tactics employed by Baffert/Espinoza on Sky Kingdom were blatant.
Force Shared Belief out wide, and keep him there as long as possible.

I dont think any rider would have expected the "other" Baffert horse to put him in the SA parking lot.

Also the rider of California Chrome who really would benefit from a loss by SB.

Kinda cheap tactics but the best horse still won.

Vyjack could have had a very different career if his connections had not been obsessed with running in the wrong races at the wrong distances. Now they are deciding between the Classic and the Cigar?

Duh.
