I don't want to bring this up after the fact as it did seem too simple, but here are Gordon Pine's assessments of this year's and last year's Derbies.
Last year I included Peace Rules and hit the tri and exacta. This year, exacta only because I thought others had a better chance than Imperialism. Overhandicapped, I guess. :)

I hit the tri last year, this year too much hype, and I got too excited a month before( about Limehouse) the race. My brother plays the horses once a year hit the tri for $1 on a $24 tri box....his only play in the last 6 months.
Daughter is doing great, she is getting ready for Saratoga....oh wait that is me.
