Finally some transparency from the administration. Obama has decided to do the right thing about amnesty. Which is doing nothing, the White House has announced, because doing something might cost Democratic votes in November.

From the N Y Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/07/us/politics/obama-said-to-delay-executive-action-on-immigration.html):

WASHINGTON — President Obama has delayed action to reshape the nation’s immigration system without congressional approval until after the November elections, bowing to the concerns of Senate Democrats on the ballots, White House officials said on Saturday.

The decision is a striking reversal of Mr. Obama’s vow to take action on immigration soon after summer’s end. The president made that promise on June 30, standing in the Rose Garden, where he angrily denounced Republican obstruction and said he would use the power of his office to protect immigrant families from the threat of deportation.

Obama leading from behind again. His advisers must have been reading those polls that Obama says he pays no attention to.

Most voters oppose President Obama's reported plan to unilaterally grant amnesty to several million illegal immigrants and think Congress should challenge him in court if he goes ahead with it

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 62% of Likely U.S. Voters oppose the president granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants without the approval of Congress. Just 26% are in favor of Obama's plan, while 12% are undecided.

Obama has graduated.
He is now truly an embarrassment to not only America, but to the human race.
He has no integrity, no morality, no balls, no strategy, no clue.
A hump.

Politics has always trumped Policy. Because Politics is the only and has been the only way to get anything done in Washington. Obama biggest failure as a president is that he not great at politics. If he were, there would be no tea party.

Obama (http://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/exclusive-obama-blames-border-crisis-immigration-reform-delay-n197441)has recalibrated his position and says the delay in amnesty is not about the elections.

In an exclusive interview with Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd, President Barack Obama defended his decision to delay executive action on immigration, saying the summer’s surge of unaccompanied children at the Mexican border changed the politics of the issue.

“The truth of the matter is that the politics did shift midsummer because of that problem,” Obama said in the interview, which will air on Sunday’s Meet the Press on NBC. “I want to spend some time, even as we're getting all our ducks in a row for the executive action, I also want to make sure that the public understands why we're doing this, why it's the right thing for the American people, why it's the right thing for the American economy.”

In the sit-down with Todd, Obama rejected criticism that the postponement is merely a political tactic intended to help embattled Democrats in the months before contentious midterm elections, saying that the delay will help make new immigration policies “sustainable” when they are announced later this year.

Anytime Obama says "The truth of the matter is..." you know he is about to unload some serious BS. So, does this means that Obama is going to spend the next 2 months explaining his amnesty policy to the people, and not out campaigning and fund raising?

No, if he were a competent LEADER, there would have been no need for the Teat Party. The TP grew because he was nothing BUT a politician.

Twitchy (http://twitchy.com/2014/09/07/he-didnt-know-obamas-reason-why-he-shouldnt-have-golfed-after-foley-beheading-will-enrage-you/) is on fire after his Meet the Press admission that the optics and theatrics following the Foley beheading didn't rise to Presidential standards.

didn't rise to Presidential standards.

If anyone should know the presidential standards of optics, it would be the guy whose only qualification for office was optics.

Just regrets his getting caught -- no real remorse for his lack of sensitivity.
