CNBC is all about the false sense of excitement. They are kings of the 8 headed box with people yelling over each other.

But even for them his debate with Rick Santelli (and 3 others) made me think he is high on something.

And I agree with his basic points. He just seems off.

Anyone else?

Like most old school media outlets, CNBC is really bad at new school media.

The trend is towards more depth via podcasts with extended interviews. Bloomberg does this very well. CNBC is stuck in the past as evidenced by its plunging ratings. Those idiots still believe there's an audience that finds Cramer entertaining.

Anyone else?I watch the early morning show Squawk Box . The one with Becky Quick. I switch back and forth with Mike and Mike (espn 2). When Santelli comes on, I am now switching. I have gotten tired of his stick. Besides he has been always wrong in the past few years. They don't have many annoying boxes on this show. I like that show because a lot of CEOs of real companies and not just investment companies. This morning they had Robert Kraft, owner of the N E Patriots. He talked about his box business which is doing very well according to him.

It's a shame you switch from CNBC when Rick Santelli comes on, you should stick around and learn a thing or two. :)

Santelli most certainly makes his 'case' much better than Steve Leesman does, who is nothing more than an Obama apologist.

I do agree with you when CNBC has seasoned, accomplished corporate giants on, like Bob Kraft, Larry Bossidy and Bob Crandall, the viewer gets a more complete picture of that business and the economy.

But, when those other fan-boy guests are on and blather ad nauseum about bitcoin, the 'genius' Tesla Musk, uber, cloud, etc., etc., I reach for the remote.
