Does he come back next season and play? If he does, he will get to 3,000. Be interesting to see the "celebration" if he gets there, which he will if he can play at least half a season.

A cheater who never sees Cooperstown. The 3000 hit plateau in his world of being a fake, phony and cheat is severely compromised. Hope he has a career ending injury in his 1st game back.

I hope he comes back and plays well enough to earn every nickel in his contract (bonuses for home runs). Hope he sucks every nickel out of the Yankees. As a met fan, I love a rod!
