They probably read my post about Borrego ...Cant imagine he
will stay that low....... All I want to know .. is WISEGUYS ?
Who is their horse ? The only horse I ever had in the Derby..
where the "local buzz" was correct..... The late great
Ferdinand. Everybody in the poker rooms around So Cal ...
was talking about the hoss. Saying that the " Shoe " was
gonna win One more derby. And Whittingham told anyone who
would listen .." I wouldnt ship the horse...unless I was gonna
win with him " Sigh .. that was then and this is now ..

I believe Funny Cide was around 7-1 , maybe 8-1 one day before. The Cliffs Edge looks like ice at 8-1.

well Birdstone has dropped down considerably which I am happy for the horse, I was beginning to think there was some problem we didnt know about had him at 50-1 in the morning line...

Then again probably in a real honest line, 7 or 8 of these horses really are 50-1 shots in any event. With the slop maybe more.

I know I've mentioned this site before. It's Bennett Liebman's Albany Law School site. He asks a simple question in his most recent article about Mike Battaglia's Ky. Derby morning line. I agree with Mr. Liebman and ask a further question, "How come the Daily Racing Form discarded this Albany Law School professor?" His columns in the Form a few years ago were great!
