Interesting placement of this horse Saturday. He’s not running in The Woodward, but is entered as a MTO for the Bernard Baruch?

Off since winning The Donn in February, I had wondered how Mott would prep him for Breeders Cup. This seems an odd tack--if he draws in, will he still run in the Jockey Club? If he doesn’t draw in, when will he return from the lay-off? Is Mott planning one prep or two?

Mott seems to always find the way to have his horses running their best in the Fall...at championship time. I consider him racing’s version of Reggie “Mr.October” Jackson...that would be in contrast to some trainers who pad their stats early in the season, a la Alex Rodriguez (a/k/a “Mr. April”).

I just don't understand all the talk about this horse.

So he beat WTC one time on a lightning quick track.

I guess I'm just missing something.

Mott will be on my radio show shortly...I will try to remember to ask him here he is headed ( even though I already know it is the Ack Ack at Churchill ).

Exactly. Dan made short work of him..hence the MTO entry

He certainly doesn't work up much of a sweat racing, does he?
I put on my horse watch list:

1. Bet Lea
2. Go to dentist

He's a nice horse for sure I just kind of cringe when I hear him mentioned in company with California Chrome, Palice Malice, Shared Belief etc.

I'm curious to see what surface Mott really thinks he is best on
