An astounding total of six very good looking turf allowance races scheduled--hope they stay on-the-turf but the odds of that are perhaps looking slimmer?

btw...kudos to the Racing Secretary for not carding any turf sprints Saturday; my not so humble opinion is that turf sprints are bastard events and have no place on big days.

Looking very slim. Track conditions (http://www.nyra.com/saratoga/trackconditions/) today (Friday) are muddy and off turf, and the forecast is for more rain today and tonight.

Its horrible up here today, just as it was yesterday. Still, though, people come to the races. Rainy and 60s.

Hopefully tomorrow is better.
