Wimbledon and Jerry Bailey

Presuming that Bailey had pretty much the pick of the horses
he wanted to ride ( i dont that for sure ) ....The question
remains...Why did he choose Wimbledon ? That's all for me..

Have you looked at Bailey's Derby mounts in recent years. If you have, you wouldn't make that statement.!

because he didnt really want to ride in the derby and they scratched wimbleton :)
