Apparently, the word "ninja" is now off-limits in politically-correct discourse (online and otherwise), regardless of the context in which it is being used, because some people are employing it as a euphemism for the "other" n-word.

I hope that the TMNT won't see a dropoff at the box office. I've always enjoyed them, ever since their cartoon days.

I hope that the TMNT won't see a dropoff at the box office. I've always enjoyed them, ever since their cartoon days.My friends and I bought the original first-edition comic when it came out in 1984, it was in black and white and only about 3000 were printed. The owner of the comic book shop we went to ordered about a dozen copies and told us about it..

That comic is now worth thousands in mint condition. I stupidly sold mine a couple yrs later right before the cartoon debuted and the whole brand exploded. But a couple of my old friends still have theirs..
