Interesting video from an Arizona defense attorney about his opinion on how the Constitution has never really protected citizens and how government's power has grown. Basically, because the Constitution is so vague the gov can interpret as broadly as it wants to in order to do whatever it wants.

Perhaps you missed the bill of rights?

Pretty sure he covered that in his talk.

It's an interesting speech. He claims to have represented someone in a prostitution case in Arizona because the Federal Gov was involved. He asked for the case to be dismissed because the Fed Gov did not have jurisdiction in Arizona. The judge disagreed because a condom was used and since the condom was produced in a different state intra-state commerce was involved and intra-state commerce is regulated by the fed gov.

So the point he is making that all those words in the Constitution and Bill of Rights do not protect you and you are mistaken if you think they do.

I have heard that said before that we commit crimes every day without even realizing that we are committing them.

Here are a couple of examples of the police state:

Michigan farmers forced to kill their hogs or face fines and jail time because the hogs didn't conform to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) definition of acceptable hogs. The DNR is backed by large agribusiness in the state.

Why can't a farmer raise any kind of hog he wants to?

Or how about this one:

http://news.yahoo.com/feral-horse-fight-brewing-mexico-village-040241360.html

The New Mexico Livestock Board removed 50 horses roaming around town. Pro-horse citizens sued to the state to stop the round ups, but a state judge ruled that the horses aren't considered wild. The U.S. Bureau of Land Management sides with state courts and says the horses aren't wild so the federal officials consider the horses "unauthorized excessive livestock". Gotta love the fancy terminology. Everyone else just calls them "wild horses".

George Carlin has a good skit about how language is used by bureaucrats with the intent to make something sound important.

It really is a comedy -- maybe a tragi-comedy -- but a comedy nonetheless.

The solution - vote Tea Party and get smaller government.
All governments are evil - it their essence. NO government is ever good. At best, they are useful for a while.

This is why term limits are mandatory.

Supreme Court and congressional seats should have limits.

The problem with any government is that by nature it always expands.

We have 50 states who are supposed to be self-governing, but as the video above shows, the federal government can always find a way to intervene in any state matter.

Blacks in Missouri are wondering the same thing.

So you suggest they just left them burn the place down?

Blacks in Missouri are victims of the Dem machine. Just like everywhere else. Ferguson is just another reservation for blacks.

Until they realize they are 4 generations into being a permanent underclass, bought off by the party of Santa Claus, nothing will change. Culturally Big Mike roughing up a store clerk was completely acceptable. Trying to take a cops gun, wondering if he was about to go to jail for robbery, now that's a whole other matter.

Whites running things in a town that has become mostly Black in the last decade or so.

Well Robert, if they ran their own show the death toll would be tenfold.

Then why haven't they elected Black officials and hired Black cops?
Maybe not many applied?
Did that cross your mind?

Andrea Mitchel, NBC News was talking about that today.
Not good Bobby, when you think like Andrea Mitchel, NBC News.
