I might fire up some Balmoral and maybe a little Hoosier and Rosecroft.. Hopefully I can come up with 8-10 playable races out of those tracks..

What's on the menu tonight?

SQ and MELMAN,

--Yes, I can see a few good possibilities for bets at Mohawk and Balmoral Park on Thurs. Apr. 29/04.

--I'm taking a hiatus from betting the Meadowlands. All I got from betting that track lately was red ink! Used to do well there with my methods in previous years. Don't know what changes have occured at the Big M to produce such negative results this year. Anyone got any theories? I take my hat off to anyone who can make money at The Big M now. Congratulations!

BigM has changed a lot.. You have to cap it like Mohawk right now.. It's just not the same. They used to race 4 quarters, now they race 2 (sound like Mohawk more and more?)

SQ,

Do you mean instead of the "Meadowlands shuffle", it's now "pace fast to the first 1/4" to get position..."pace at a slower rate single file to the 3/4", then spread out and "pace fast again to the finish line"?

exactly... you don't see the shuffle or challenges past the half like you used to.... though the last week or two has seemed a bit better.

i'm still showing a good profit there this year but i've cut my betting there considerably. sat night a lot of races don't scream "bet" like they used to. this is the first year i've followed balmoral so that's taking some of my interest away. some good looking races friday night though
