Have to agree. Promised much, delivered little. Was pretty much a Monmouth horse for course.

Coolmore knew full well what they were getting.
They have a very nice stallion who was never going to win much in Europe.

Also, the press reports over there state that the injury he suffered
at Sandown was fairly minor and routine. They were targeting a trip
back here for the BC, and that wasn't going to happen now.

Off to the shed - no harm, no foul.
