Only Silver Max and Sayaad like setting the pace.

I just don't believe Jose Ortiz on Sayaad will duel with Silver Max. Maybe Silver Max takes a moderate lead and pulls away.

What do you think?

1 Silver Max Albarado R J 122 L
2 Seek Again Rosario J 121 L
3 Jack Milton Castellano J J 119 L
4 Dorsett Velazquez J R 115 L
5 Sayaad Ortiz J L 118 L
6 Grand Arch Moran D 117 L

Gotta go with :2: has run in some nice races, will be underbet because of the perceived pace scenario. Anything above the ML is a gift.

The more I think about it, I shouldn't play if I think Silver Max will win.

I think the 5 jogs. Backing up with a little 2.

I think the :2: is the best horse, however, I would be worried about the mile distance. Silver Max is clearly the early speed and will be alone on the lead. Can the :2: run him down at a mile. That is the question. The :3: should run up late to be a part of the tri or super.

The :4: is the worst horse in the race and can be easily tossed out in all tris and supers. The :5: is real cheap and won't see the lead. Hard to make a case for him being in the exacta. The :6: is confusing to me. Runs one race on the lead and the next from behind. Wins a a grade 2 after losing a NW3 allowance. Fits the race very well and has been in the money all 14 lifetime races.

My pick: :1: and :2: first and second over :3: and :6: for third and fourth. May want to box all four one time to cover. Not sure I will be playing this race though.

The 5 is real cheap?? Lol
Based on what?

Hoping the :3: gets overlooked and that the :1: and :5: get into a pace duel up front while Castellano rolls home the :3: Jack Milton down the lane at 5/1.

Likely a good race to stay away.

That the :1: and :2: are grade 1 winners and the :3: is a grade 1 placing while the :5: has only run in one grade 3 race in its entire life. Which it finished off the board. Name me one good horse the :5: has beaten that could run with the top 3

:1: looks like a true need-the-lead horse. If :5: gets a good break and can out sprint the others to his inside, he could go with the :1: long enough to compromise his chances. Strictly a guess, I'll pick :6: as the winner.

GL all.

Short field, big price. Going with the Arch horse, :6: , W/P.

Don't do it. Bet against the 1.

Think I'll add a place lay of the :3: at 10/11

NICE!

:1: :5: get in anticipated speed duel, and I hammer :2: :3: :6: Exacta and Trifecta.

:2: :3: with :2: :3: :6: and :2: :3: with :2: :3: :6: with :2: :3: :6:

Might get me even for the day. :D

Track record in a helluva race.
CJ's adjusted times made that one easy.

I was leaning the way of Tom and Ocala, but DNP.

IMO that race turned into a seldom seen display of talented persistence by both horse and rider. TOUGH trip down the stretch for Seek Again, but he tried, and tried, and tried again to get that hard fought win. It was a thrill to witness.
