9th@Mountaineer: 5.5F Clm5000N2L ~ purse $8,400 ~ 7/29/14
(Non-winners of two races lifetime)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Two out-of-town invaders perk up mundane closer.
No Class-droppers, No cutbacks in distance, One JBM.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
1) That's My Son (6/1 ML)- Speedy invader draws well. Trainer named
as owner previously,& may still own. Note worked here & shipped to race.
2) Heza Belfast (6/1)- Twenty-Seventh time was the charm for 6YO.
Vet scratch July 7th,& unlikely to repeat. A Tri/Super shot, underlay @ML.
3) Tolair (20/1)- 4YO has shown nothing in two local starts.
Longshot trainer can put over bombs, but this guy hard to endorse.
4) Noontime Badge (20/1)- Ken & Sarah Ramsey home-bred hasn't
lifter a hoof since claim + layoff last August. Filled super 2 back.
5) Clever Missile (7/2)- Parker pilots 4YO that may have found field
he can beat, but 1/27 lifetime strikes fear in singling. Expect 5/2 or less.
6) Hummelstown (2/1 ML Fave)- Layoff + private purchase for 4YO
that Pilares swaps mounts with Parker for. Strong bullet work July 5th.
7) Docktor Demented (8/1)- 2nd layoff runner/private purchase
has 5F bullet 8 days ago. Chicago invader wildcard off 221-day break.
8) Hitthejackpot (15/1)- Ramgeet-off not a strong angle for this barn.
Demand double ML odds if looking for Jackpot to win. S-H-5 filler?
9) Skippin Good Time (15/1)- 8YO was 70/1 here two back, bumped
early, showed little. Could flash early zip w/alert break, No Goodtime.
10) Community Property (8/1)- Rolled a pair of 5's coming out locally,
third time's the charm off private purchase by solid Trainer/Jock.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
EARLY LOOK: ML Failed at 4/5 on drop 294 days ago, reappears at the
same level off private purchase & 4 works. Rail runner That's My Son
likely to gun early, & Docktor Demented &/or Skip could be aggressive
as well. Clever Missile gets the garden trip (again),& Parker may be able
to time 4YO's short-fused spurt. Community Property has shown nothing
in two outs, but gets a cozy post & Trainer/Jock tough to pass up
at ML odds & potential pace scenario. It's #1,10 for Me in P-4 & P-5.
#'s 2-3-4-8-9 best suited under in Tri/Super/S-H-5 as price fillers.
Good Luck to ALL, & see you at Night School!

8th@Mountaineer: 6F 3YO Fillies- Alw22200N2L ~ purse $22,200 ~ 7/29/14
(3YO fillies, Non-winners of Two races lifetime)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wide-Open Allowance features a JBM (Just Broke Maiden) ML Fave
that was visually impressive in her debut. Two go Turf-2-Dirt.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) True Kinection (4/1 ML)- Pilares needs to work trip from rail
as filly goes 2nd-time over oval. Trainer also sends out Goodtime Annie.
2) Goodtime Annie (8/1)- Was Vet Scratch July3 & July 6, i've
never seen two that close together before. Debut only other time @6F.
3) Hooked a Good One (6/1)- Received Classic Rivera ride in debut,
grabbing lead & nursing speed once there. Five works since last!
4) Ms. Jean Elizabeth (9/2)- Turf-2-Dirt for filly yet to catch a Fast
Dirt surface. Versatile & Well bred, gets Parker, lots to like.
5) Pink Rubans (2/1 ML Fave)- The Beyer came back light, but what
an impressive debut. Blew start, won going away. Underlay at ML odds.
6) Deliver (5/2)- 440Yd.Cutback going T-2-D for filly that in 2013 was
solid 2nd here in $100K stakes. Seasoning & Class edge, likely closer.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
EARLY LOOK: Young runners with upside, what racing is all about.
No strong convictions, only Annie off recent Vet No-Go's seems up
against it. Love the Works by Hooked, Ms.Jean nice ML price.
I'll use #'s 3/4 in Horizontal bets,& try to beat ML Faves #'s 5/6.
Good Luck to ALL, & See You at Night School!
