Recently, a number of unexplained tasks and functions were revealed to exist in iOS. Apple has responded and here's one article regarding the response: http://www.tuaw.com/2014/07/22/apple-denies-it-included-backdoor-services-in-ios/

The way it sits, now, it would be a perfect first tasks for Jay Carney to handle, if he actually does take a position with Apple.

Apple does not deny the existence of the services discovered by forensic scientist Jonathan Zdziarski, but instead claims the functions are diagnostic and primarily used for troubleshooting and enterprise control of devices.
I'm curious to know what kind of trusted computer rating an iOS device might receive from the NSA, etc.
