This type of mistake occurred because your listed selection name "Sweet Profit" went with the #11 saddlecloth number, and you listed that it went with the #10 saddlecloth number, which was associated with the race winner who paid $50+ for a $2 ticket. By contest rule, the name takes precedent, but your honesty is to be commended.

I enter selections and score them using the saddlecloth numbers because it reduces the total time to complete everything on a typical day to 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Entering and scoring by horse's names would easily double the time required to complete each day's tasks. We request that players include the horse's names in their selections to correctly resolve situations such as this one.

Entering a player's selections and then scoring them takes about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to complete each day. If I did a look-up by horse's name, I estimate the process would take 6+ hours. :faint: This is why I do the look-up by saddlecloth number, then let the player tell me if there was a mistake.

When you get a chance can you tell me whether I messed up on my pick of Ocala Jim in the 2nd at Saratoga today (Sat 7/26). When my original pick #8 was a late scratch I used Quote to change to Ocala Jim but put #3 instead of #5 then I used Quote again just to clarify I meant #5 but I'm not sure if the 2nd (which was under 1 minute or perhaps past post then I finally hit submit) caused the other pick to go from winner to no-play.

When you get a chance can you tell me whether I messed up on my pick of Ocala Jim in the 2nd at Saratoga today (Sat 7/26). When my original pick #8 was a late scratch I used Quote to change to Ocala Jim but put #3 instead of #5 then I used Quote again just to clarify I meant #5 but I'm not sure if the 2nd (which was under 1 minute or perhaps past post then I finally hit submit) caused the other pick to go from winner to no-play.
