Wish I had gotten a chance to see him run more out here. He really liked Santa Anita (something went wrong his last race here, obviously). And Ms. Ritvo did a great job training him (and her success after a transplant was a great story). Hope she gets another good horse in the future; she certainly knows what she is doing.

No, they say he's getting a little older and has nothing left to prove.

Pity they didn't wait a few months for one last BC Classic, but Gary Stevens is out for six months, so who knows if that may have factored into the timing.

Very good horse. He was probably better than general perceptions. He had a number of tough trips one year or he might have won a few other big races.
