Black Americans: The True Casualties of Amnesty
Democrats throw black voters under the bus.
By A. J. Delgado

One of the sleeper issues surrounding the debate on amnesty for illegal immigrants – an inconvenient one that no proponent of a widespread amnesty wishes to acknowledge – is the devastating effect so-called immigration reform will have on African Americans.

The black unemployment rate is almost 11 percent, far higher than that of any other group profiled by labor statistics. African Americans are disproportionately employed in lower-skilled jobs – the very same jobs immigrants take. As Steven Camarota asked in a recent column, why double immigration when so many people already aren’t working?

Who will be harmed most by amnesty? African-Americans."

-snip-

"Democrats have built a brand as the party willing to stand up for black Americans, but the amnesty push shows what a false promise that was. The message to black voters is: “Yes, your ancestors endured unimaginable hardships and helped build this country, and we said we’d help you out. But now we have a new trophy wife.”

"Troll, troll, troll your boat
Gently down the stream"

It's an article that defines exactly what is going on in many places. I have seen it in Baltimore, Charlotte and now Dallas. We actually hire people. We have to compete with other businesses. We see the pool grow and contract. It's worse now than it's ever been. It appears that illegals are having no problem getting paperwork to work in the U.S. now. Everybody has the appropriate paperwork. Very rarely do we find forged Doc's anymore.

This morning my wife had 20 apps to review for an 8.00 an hour job washing dishes. The restaurant next door pays min wage for that job, and they have no shortage of applicants. Most are Hispanic. Our kitchen is 75% black. They are paid more. But when the guy next door is paying less, he has an advantage. The market is getting worse for low end workers. Historically young blacks.

The underground market is getting worse too. Not a week goes by that someone doesn't knock on my door offering to cut my grass etc for less than the guy who is already doing it. How is an extra 300k young people in Texas and Arizona going to change things? I can bet it will be easy to predict. 90k came into Texas in the last ninety days. Some went to Oklahoma. It's going to hurt people. Young people. Minorities more than others. You can't flood a State with that many young people looking for work and it not have some kind of repercussions.

It will hurt those willing to work and overburden State resources. Welfare, WIC, 911, Police and Fire etc. all will feel it. The poor will suffer the most.

Sorry Dan. Not buying. First that article was written before the latest "problem" as Obama likes to call it. They might want wait and see how it plays out and do their research again in five years.

I also looked at the links provided. I call bullshit. As we lose kitchen staff, it happens on a regular basis, the wage is going to go down. I don't care what research they do, we have to compete with those around us. The future doesn't look better for low wage workers, it looks much worse.

A black mother in Baltimore (http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/07/11/Black-American-from-Baltimore-Where-Can-I-Get-Asylum) wants to know how she can get refugee status.

On Friday's Laura Ingraham Show, Elaine, a black woman from Baltimore, expressed her outrage that President Barack Obama is putting the interests of illegal immigrant children above those of American citizens. Though the number of illegal immigrant children unlawfully entering the country has spiked since Obama unilaterally enacted his temporary amnesty program in 2012, the White House has said the primary cause of the border crisis is the rampant gang violence in Central America.

"I'm living a nightmare. My whole neighborhood is so violent. There's so much crime," she said. "I have gangs everywhere here in Baltimore! I can't let my daughter ride her bicycle outside – I can't do anything, Laura! I'm trapped here."

Elaine told Ingraham that she listens to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Obama and feels that "nobody is saying a word" while spending billions of dollars taking care of foreigners who are unlawfully in the country.

"Well, what about my neighborhood? You don't have to do it in Beverly Hills, but in the inner cities where we are suffering," she said. "My children cannot play outside. I cannot take my trash out without locking the door – it's awful. Who is going to give us anything? Where can I get asylum? Where can I get refugee status? I don't know what I can do. Nobody cares what happens to my children."

That call from Baltimore is very sad. I am profoundly encouraged that a black women from Baltimore is even listening to Laura Ingraham.

If blacks would wake up and smell the the coffee or realized how they have been herded and manipulated for fifty years, it would be an awakening of incredible proportions. They have to know that they are being harmed by illegal immigration more than anybody. They have to know......?..

Hear it here........

Forget color for the moment, large city's are perfect for the industrialist to garner all types of employees who in turn become loyal hard working types. Instead of concussions made to industrialist who have a strong propensity to create jobs, the sons of a bitches declare open season on the industrialist with taxes. A combined effort is the only formula for the inner city, sold out again by city hall.

In evaluating your cynical reply, "as opposed to who" is the question I'd ask.

The protectors of minorities have had a good run playing the role, but the pudding has been coming up light on proof for a while now.

This is the joke that nobody talks about - the protectors of the minorities, the ones that can't endure even one more young death - what are they doing other than speaking in platitudes and blaming dozens of deaths in a weekend on weapons as though if they followed Rahm's advice and "put down the guns" that he'd have unlocked the key to the violence problem in his city? They got nothing either.

Goren got excoriated for speaking with actual words about the subject. Someone that got the memo on how to speak covertly about the subject behind the backs of blacks would have replaced Goren's words with "inner city at-risk youth", "single earner family", and "disadvantaged minority recidivist youth" and gotten a Pulitzer and a Nobel for saying the exact same thing in a way that other elitists could decipher safely.

Give it up, nobody is sincere and nobody cares, from what I gather. Republicans are full of shit trying to steal the rightful fruits of Democrat labor, Democrats just want them to remain on the loyal plantation. We'll get it fixed any day now with insight into insight into insight like yours and mine.

Sweet home Chicago, again. Obama's hometown folks blast him about most everything. Story and video here.

On Friday evening residents from Chicago’s Southside held a protest in front of the Chicago Police Department against the intolerable violence plaguing their communities and sounded off on President Obama for paying favor to illegal aliens crossing the southern border. Residents also called for the resignation of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy for their failure to effectively handle the city’s violence epidemic.

The president’s handling of the illegal invasion in Texas prompted residents to call him out for ignoring the current state of Chicago, where 120 people have been shot and at least 26 killed so far this July.

“Barack will go down as the worth president ever elected, Bill Clinton was the African-American President,” one resident said, in response to the president’s performance on the job, “President Barack needs to pay attention to Chicago, if he can not pay attention to Chicago and the African-American community, he needs to resign.”

nope. just objective facts from observations that are becoming more and more apparent to the permanent underclass created by Johnson and the ongoing leadership of the Dem party. The ruse is being revealed.

Today the kids that are coming up in all communities are much more sophisticated when it comes to consuming outside information. Via the Internet, via portable mobile etc. They get it. And they are waking up........
They will not be of the same mindset of those poor kids of the 70's and 80's.

Whether they are black, Poor Whites, Hispanic etc......they won't be so easy to fool. And the blacks are waking up to the fact that the Dems have thrown them aside in pursuit of Hispanic votes.

I spoke with a 20 yr old black female last night. She works for my wife. Goes to school part time, and is almost finished with her degree. I asked her if she knew who she was voting for. She laughed when I mentioned Wendy Davis. Told me that Davis is full of it. She told me she won't be voting for her. She didn't say who she was voting for, but I took one less vote for Davis as a good sign.

These kids are not the same as their parents. That I see as a good thing.

This thread is just some more of the conservative tripe. The message is loud and clear. Why they just come out say it in plain English is clear when you phrase it in plain English. The conservative message of this thread in plain English is.

"You Blacks are too damned dumb to know what is good for you."
There I said it for you. I leave it toyou to set it to music.

An expert witness (Charles Stewart, a prof at MIT) hired by the Department of Justice to testify in a NC election case said that certain voting laws discriminate against blacks because blacks are less sophisticated, less educated, and less informed than whites.

It's also the case that -- well, yes, so it would, empirically more likely affect African Americans. Also, understanding within political science, that people who register to vote the closer and closer one gets to Election Day tend to be less sophisticated voters, tend to be less educated voters, tend to be voters who are less attuned to public affairs. That also tells me from the literature of political science that there are likely to be people who will end up not registering and not voting. People who correspond to those factors tend to be African Americans, and, therefore, that's another vehicle through which African Americans would be disproportionately affected by this law.

The major difference between the elites of the two parties is that the democratic elite believe that " But for the Grace of God, there go I" and the GOP elite believe that God had nothing to do with where I am at. I think that is a fair assessment of the elites of both parties.

That has to be one of the more stupid comments here. The Dems are ALWAYS bashing the Repubs for being too religious. It's the Repubs that believe that one can achieve anything, with Gods help. While the Dems believe that one can HAVE anything, with Governments help. How pathetic. :(

To be honest, I wouldn't say the political class of the GOP believes the bolded as a general rule. They use that as a marketing tag line. To me, many GOP lawmakers would forgo God in a New York minute if they needed to do so to get elected. They are just less obvious about it than the Dems.

Louisiana Democrat Sen. Mary Landrieu was doing her "poor, poor pitiful me" routine on NBC, whining about everyone in the South is racist and sexist. I guess she got elected to the Senate 3 times because folks down there were so wrapped up clinging to their guns and religion they never noticed before that she was a woman.

Must have been those evil Koch brothers that broke the news in some of their expensive hate ads.

It tried to prevent employers from imposing their religion on their employees. Unfortunately they were not successful in the "Hobby Lobby Case" . What do you expect from people who kill their kids? The abortion debate is clear case of the GOP trying to force their religious beliefs on others. No democrat ever forced or tried to force any woman into having an abortion. The GOP has consistently tried to prevent women from having one. Whether woman has an abortion or not should be between her and her God, if she has one. Not between her and some republican's God. The great thing about America is the government does not force you to have a GOD. Women like Ayn Rand can be atheists in this country. Women like Joyce Meyer can be a Charismatic Christian. They have the freedom to chose.

Not true.
No one has tried to make it illegal.

Or force religious organizations to provide it for you.

Some people still don't understand the difference between birth control and paying for birth control. Some people consider paying for birth control to be a sin. How does exercising your belief that paying for birth control is a sin prohibit an employee from getting birth control?

Everybody who works for a wage and gets their insurance through their employer is a little less free because of it.

The ultimate liberal oxymoron. More government restrictions and fewer choices gives everyone more freedom.

Thomas Sowell argues that one of the biggest voter frauds being perpetrated is the claim by Eric Holder and others that there is no voter fraud.

One of the biggest voter frauds may be the idea promoted by Attorney General Eric Holder and others that there is no voter fraud, that laws requiring voters to have a photo identification are just attempts to suppress black voting.

Reporter John Fund has written three books on voter fraud and a recent survey by Old Dominion University indicates that there are more than a million registered voters who are not citizens, and who therefore are not legally entitled to vote.

The most devastating account of voter fraud may be in the book "Injustice" by J. Christian Adams. He was a Justice Department attorney, who detailed with inside knowledge the voter frauds known to the Justice Department, and ignored by Attorney General Holder and Company.

One of these frauds involved sending out absentee ballots to people who had never asked for them. Then a political operator would show up -- uninvited -- the day the ballots arrived and "help" the voter to fill them out. Sometimes the intruders simply took the ballots, filled them out and forged the signatures of the voters.

These were illegal votes for Democrats, which may well be why Eric Holder sees no evil, hears no evil and speaks no evil.

coercion: the practice of persuading someone to do something by using force or threats

Who is using the practice of persuading someone to do something by using force or threats here, other than the government trying to force employers to do something contrary to their religious beliefs?

How is an employer saying that anyone that wants birth control can pay for it themselves coercion?

That would appear to be logically impossible. The clause says:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion

By definition and common sense, only Congress can violate that clause.

Speaking of crapping on blacks, fat cats, and the "underpriveledged" being ruined by those that won't pay their "fair share":

Obscured in his ascent, however, has been his troubling financial past, which continues to shadow his present.

Mr. Sharpton has regularly sidestepped the sorts of obligations most people see as inevitable, like taxes, rent and other bills. Records reviewed by The New York Times show more than $4.5 million in current state and federal tax liens against him and his for-profit businesses. And though he said in recent interviews that he was paying both down, his balance with the state, at least, has actually grown in recent years. His National Action Network appears to have been sustained for years by not paying federal payroll taxes on its employees.

"Christopher Arps, founder of the black social networking web site Move-On-Up.org:

Mr. President, how do these people “get right with the law” when you have to break the law to allegedly get them right with the law?

Ronald Reagan and George Bush used executive orders to tweak immigration law, but it was within the framework of the 1986 Simpson/Mazzoli amnesty law that was passed by Congress.

As a student of politics and history, I’ll unfortunately be able to tell my grandchildren that I lived through America’s early 21 century experiment with a lawlessness extremely left-wing president. This man — a self-professed constitutional scholar — is so brazen that he’s openly violating the Constitution he swore to protect. And he’s doing so just a few years after he said he didn’t have the authority to do what he just did on immigration.

Unbelievable!"

"Well, black liberals, sorry — but I have to put you on blast.

Every time this country has pardoned illegal immigrants, crime and black unemployment have gone through the roof. Don’t believe me? Check the statistics from Reagan’s congressionally-approved amnesty package. Not only did three times as many illegal immigrants as were promised become legal through the undiscovered intricacies of chain immigration, but the crime rate soared and black unemployment went through the roof.

Sorry again, black liberals. You just got dumped!"

"Barack Obama really had the potential to be an iconic president. It’s a shame he’s now relegated to someone who will be remembered most for not only dividing a nation, but for circumventing Congress in order to push his personal agenda."
