DRF Consumer Alert

I just bought the DRF Stars and Stripes Players Package. The email I got detailed what the package contains.

Let me caution anyone - the Players Guide is a stinking 6 pages, no charts, no Beyers, no stats....6 pages of a couple of paragraphs each, for $10!

Clearly, the add they emailed me is a fraud and I am sending it on to the NYS Attorney General for false advertising. i called a told them I want a refund and I am going to send emails to every single address they have on their website.

Buy at your own risk - I have the downloaded copy for proof the deal is a fraud.

No charts, no stats, no Beyers.....no integrity!

I had a problem with my account at DRF a couple months back. One email to Lonnie and he took care of it, no questions. A good guy.

DRF seems on a course to maximize revenue and minimize product. This guide was pure BS. There probably was a half an hours work put into it. You get FAR more information from a Steve Byk interview on Fridays.

I had been planning on buying the Delmar and Toga guides, as I always do, but from no won DRF is off my list for anything. Screw me once, shame on me......DRF is dead to me.

But DRF not anymore.
I got a survey about paying for DRF news.
Told them why would why would I pay for news when google & other horseracing sites provides me with all the horseracing news I need.
Well they send me an E-mail saying they are giving me one month free of DRF news , but they have to charge me 1cent though.
Like a fool I agreed,guess what it expired 7/5/14 and the DRF handily checked the auto renew on my account.
Which I was then billed $20 for another month.
I have unchecked the auto renew on the member page.
I did not read the fine print......got me ;)

So they got my $20 BUT I AM SWITCHING PROVIDERS.
They won this battle but they will lose the war.

Unfortunately in all my years dealing with the DRF this is the shadiest they have ever been.
