Race 4 #7 Keen Katana 6/1 Last race is better than appears on paper.
Broke well only to get into tight quarters a few times. Made up some ground turning for home and finished evenly. 1 mile should be okay. Expect to be forwardly placed. 6/1 would be playable.

Trips got a great eye for these things. but, he is playing the major league tracks and in the long run they are almost impossible to show a positive result, for me anyway.

Race 9 #2 My Papa D 12/1 Poor gate in debut but after settling appeared to want to run early. Ran decent enough down lane for me to think with a good break and sitting closer up early, can be a factor in here today.

this horse had a bad case of EPM. its a miracle that he is even here today. we schooled him at the gate this winter and got him a lot better, but not great.

any kind of clean break will get this horse in the hunt, he got some ability.

Being better and more patient than most is a prerequisite.

Was rated off pace which surprised me, but didn't matter.
