Suffolk decided to divided a twelve horse $5k claimer going 5 1/2 today into two six horse fields for some inexplicable reason behest to me.

Of course two horses have been scratched in the first "division", leaving just another small field of four in that race when they could had a field of ten if they didn't divide it.

Seems like they wanted to run nine races, when it would have been better to card eight or seven which isn't a rare occasion these days at Suffolk, especially on weekdays.

AFAIK, there are fewer than 700 horses on the grounds.

A new track record in Race 7!!!

The horse's last TimeformUS figure was miles better than anything in the field. Unfortunately, she was only 4/5.
