If you get a chance, watch the replay for Saratoga Race 12 Saturday night. The 2 interferes with the 9 and several trailing horses. The 4 rides the pocket and as the 2 drifts, the 4 squeezes through. The 4 goes into the safety lane and cuts the corner to take the lead. He ends up finishing second and stays up.
If the 9 didn't win, would they have taken the 4 down? He definitely gained an advantage going inside like that, but is that allowable since he got forced into the safety lane?
