Have you given any thought to selling your selections, rather than just your software? ( That way I could win enough to afford your software and the cost of building a database!;)

I actually have considered that option - probably some setup off of the website, with passwords; have to think about it - the time commitment required is the main problem.

If I understand you correctly, you pass races when there are insufficient races in the database ( at that track, distance, surface) to provide a reasonable confidence level and/or a dismal record of wins for the picks over the last 20 or so races.

What are your cutoff points for each of these criteria?

I usually want at least 5 races in the track/surface/distance/class level subgroup to even consider the race, and in cases where I have larger numbers (20 or so), I want at least 1 or 2 of the systems to be showing at least 30% wins and an ROI at least better than the track take.
