If This Casino is Built...

The East Greenbush Casino is looking like it's a go.

If it does come to fruition, the Saratoga casino becomes redundant, as most of the customers come from the Capital Region, and won't make the drive to Toga, when a brand new facility is closer.

If Saratoga Casino pulls out, could that track possibly survive on its own, by paying peanuts for purse money?

This casino COULD have been in Saratoga Springs. However, there was lots of opposition.
I think a casino is the Capital District is a good idea.
One issue I see is Turning Stone losing quite a lot of business from Eastern NY State.
