EMD and Hollywood are bothe very fastest=1; BM is a very fast 2; Early leaders should easliy hold and win!

The California tracks aren't racing until night time, won't that change things a bit? Just curious, moisture has a lot to with track speed, surely the sun going down will change the moisture content.

I was thinking the same thing. Hot today.

Of course speed can change in 9-14 hours!! Call it luck if you want, but Ca tracks tonite most winners were within 2-3 lengths at the 1/4. LOL!! The slower the track the farther back a horse normally wins from. / Note I did not pick exact horses or favorites! This system does not really pick horses- it inicates track speed so you can match track speed too pace and running style.

This happens nearly every day at every track, especially California. Give us an expamle of a slow track next time you see one, then I'll look for winning closers.

Interesting--At Bay Meadows at least two early speed longshots went to the front and stayed there--just betting those horses would have led to a very profitable night (I had one of them, but for different reasons)

2d race--ninetenthsofthe law--paid $38 (+/-)
5th race--Xavier Money

Cheers, Cato

4f dirt works 49.0 and under is faster-than-normal; 49.2 to 49.8 is normal; 50.0 and over is slower-than-normal. / Phil Park today is slower-than-normal, Keenland is also but not many works. / Do not look for Hollywood to be slow today- about 48.8!!

So, this means closers should win at Philly, right?

1 Western Type 1 3 1-1 1/2 1-2 1-3 1-8 1-18 Diaz Sunday 2.60
2 Tessarella 2 1 1-2 1-2 1-2 1-2 1/2 1-1 1/4 Jimenez Fabrizio M. 7.60
6 Tactical Tango 6 3 5-1/2 4-2 2-2 1-nk Chavez Luis D. *1.70
2 Red River Storm 2 5 3-1/2 3-1 1-1 1/2 1-1 1/2 1-2 3/4 Flores Jose Luis 2.30
5 Our Little Lucy 5 1 1-hd 1-2 1-5 1-7 1/4 Munar Luis H. 3.50

So far, not so good...all I'm getting at is that speed will dominate most days everywhere. If your system can identify tracks that will play to closers before they run, you will make a lot of money. If you identify tracks that will play to speed, so what?

Holl Sat= Mostly 4 and up, a couple 3 yr old; Most 6f fractions were 1:13.80+; track label went from "good" to "fast". Most winners were on or just off the lead; Mayve there is a pattern that can be figured out! / I am satisfied with my record on faster-than-normal tracks; i am looking at slower-than-normal tracks like Sat. Phila Park precisly to try and predict not only speed, but winning patterns! Thank you for your help and analysis.
